Hello everyone,
I would like to have inquiry , regarding COPR . We landed in Montreal last March 23 , 2016. By mistake my oldest son( 14 years old) , signed the COPR of his younger brother .Instead of his own COPR. Just now , I checked it . Is there any problem in applying citizenship in the future? To whom I can address this issue?Thank you for any inputs.

This should be fixed asap. You'll need the CoPR in the future -

I would contact the office where you signed the paper and let them know what happened.
Things like that happen, but can be fixed.

cheers, TC

Thank you so much Tri-cities, Glad to hear that you can ask your office on what to do to fix this problem. Do I need to go back to Montreal airport immigration officer ,to inform them on what happened? We will be back on July for final settlement.

Not sure what would be the best option.

I got my COPR in Victoria many years ago and I guess I would have tried to contact that office, because that's where I signed it.
I would think it would be best to come back and then contact IRCC (CIC) by phone or email (not sure if you can email them at all).

There are users here who know better than I do - I only write down what makes sense to me, but real life is different now and then.

Take care, TC
