COPR letter showing marital status 'SINGLE' but shows my Spouse name as well.

Friends,

My COPR letter is showing marital status as 'SINGLE' but also lists my spouse details in the 'Dependent' section of the same letter. This is very confusing. Please note I added my spouse to the same PR application at the later part of the process. Means, when I submitted the PR application I was single and the I got married during the 4th month of the process. CIC added my spouse to the same application and gave us PPR as well. But the problem is the contradictory statements in my COPR letter as explained above.

Any one also had the same scenario?

Don't worry. Either send an email to your LVO or call CIC. I think they will tell you it isn't a big deal that an immigration officer can fix once landed.

Thank you for your views. This was a problem when my spouse submitted her passport in VFS. Finally they accepted. But not sure will the same confusion will come with New Delhi Visa Office during her passport stamping.
Hoping for the best.

What is your experience while lading?

I am also have similar situation. I am principle applicant and I was single when I applied for PR. I got married after my APR. I informed CIC about my marriage and added my spouse as per process. Now my wife is in India and received CORP letter showing her marital status as Single. She is getting PR because of marriage but her details on COPR are showing as Single.

So, Can she do her landing with same CoPR and get it change while landing?

Hi….. my husband recently received his COPR and get passport stamped. He has the same issue. What should we do. Please let me know what happens in your case ASAP
