COPR Landing options

Hi,

I got COPR last week and excited to complete the landing and move in to Canada. I am currently in USA.
I have few questions about the landing process -
1. Can we do the landing on weekend? Like leave on Friday and complete the process on Saturday.
2. Can we do landing by like driving over Niagara falls entry point - entering Canada and complete landing, apply for PR card and SIN at the border near Niagara falls USA?
or do we have to go to a different center?

1) Yes - you can land on a weekend.
2) You have to apply for a SIN elsewhere (Service Ontario Centre). That's not done at a land border. You do not apply for a PR card. It's automatically generated.
