I work in USA in H1b and visited Canada as part of the COPR landing( along with my family) in 2015 and (returned back to usa immediately).
We are expecting a new born ( who will be US citizen). What is the process to follow to take the new born with us when we move to Canada later this year.

If the baby is not born yet and you still some time before delivery, then it will be better to plan and deliver the baby in Canada if its possible, because if you guys are eventually moving to canada later this year then why not make a short trip to Canada, deliver the baby and return to US. (Just a suggestion).

Thanks.
We couldn't make the call of moving because of our commitments here. And am hoping that the process for US born kid will be easier.

It will not. The process will be very same as for new born baby from Somalia or Lesotho.

The only easier part is, that you can drive to get some documents. But the process itself is rather long. that is why everybody is suggesting you to give birth in Canada.
