COPR Issued on Sep23 and Expiring on Oct 5 (Just 16 days)

Hi all,

I'm CEC applicant and i received Ecopr on Sep23 2021. In COPR, I found the expiry date is OCT 5 2021.

I thought the expiry date of COPR will be valid for 1 year upon Medicals. Why i got it for just 16 days? Please advice

If you received ecopr and you are an inland applicant, its alright if your copr expires. You are already landed and copr is temporary document to support your claim about Pr. Your PR status is not affected by ecopr expiry date
