Dear Friends,
When I applied, I showed more funds than is listed in the proof of funds requirement. Do we have to take whatever we showed then, or only need to take/show proof for the latest proof of funds requirements.

And I assume we can show the proof of funds as a Bank statement in Indian currency. Or do we have to take them in traveler check or DD in Canadian dollar. Please advise.

During landing, they don't ask for proof of funds generally. But just for safety, you can have your Bank statement with you. Also, you don't have to bring all the money you mentioned in to Canada. If you are bringing more than C$10000, in cash or bonds, with you then you have to declare it during the landing process. I brought only C$5000 with me and transferred the remaining, once I opened my bank account.
