Hi all. My Australian wife was granted COPR in early 2022. Our plan was to get pregnant with our first child move to Canada in August and have the baby there. We were blessed with twins and were advised she should not fly. Her COPR was valid until Feb 1 2023. We had our babies at the end of November 2022 and realised we would not be able to make the move to Canada in time with the newborns. We applied for an extension and we’re told that our reason was sufficient. My wife was requested to redo her medical, police check, traffic history, provide documentation regarding the children including their Canadian passports. We had intention to go to Canada August 7 for my work as we booked these flights in March we felt this would be plenty of time. The extension has still not been granted. We were wondering if it is possible for my wife to enter Canada via land border? We don’t want to jeopardise her Pr as it is important to us that she can become a citizen in the coming years. But we would really like to move forward with our life plans.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
