COPR expired, change of name now or after landing?

My COPR is expired cos of Covid and my application is back to processing. Now my spouse and I are waiting for new request for medicals and then PPR.
Since my passport is also about to expire, I'm thinking of using this opportunity to do a new passport with my Married name.
Please can you advice if this is a good move now or to wait to change my surname after landing? Thank you.

How did you notice that it's expired ? Do we need to look into Valid to Date under Application Details?
Do you knwo- what's the meaning of Valid to date? I am already in CAnada and Got CoPR but not sure what to do next
