Good morning,

My wife and I are busy putting her application together. I am making photocopies of all our documents we have and wondered if anyone has clear guidance on what to include as an original and what they will accept copies of.

For instance, we have a certified marriage certificate and are ok with sending that if we will get it back. I would prefer to send a photocopy of her birth certificate. The option C, it doesn't really matter to me whether they have the original as it is normal paper. For the FBI check, I will send the original after I photocopy it, but it doesn't appear there is anything special with the FBI document either.

Does anyone have any experience or suggestions with this?

Thanks.

The only thing original i sent was the option c and the police report .. Every thing else was a photo copy . Now saying that it was for London .. Every country is different

The police report and the Option C MUST be original. Same with the upfront medical receipt form (if you were provided one). As taffy7 has done, everything else can, and probably should be a photocopy. While results have varied in this forum, you should NOT actually expect to get anything back (indeed, we didn't...this is why we had several copies made of our marriage certificate in the first place).
