Hi guys,
Am new here. Looking to get a temporary work permit and then work my way to a Skilled worker as a cook. I have 1 year experience cooking proffesionally and will get my diploma in the culinary arts in a few months. My question is; to get a job offer, how many years would an employer wish to typically see under my belt as a cook? Would it be a good idea to get some international experience before applying? Which areas in Canada are cooks in high demand now? How much would it cost to hire an immigration consultant? Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks.
