convert closed work permit to open work permit

Hi,

I came to Canada on closed work permit a year back, and within next 4 months, it would expire.

My question is that is it possible to convert my closed work permit to open work permit?, asking this as I came here as a Intra Company transferee & now my company is not extending my work assignment here and asking me to travel back to the home country.

So is there any way to convert or apply for open work? So that I could stay here and apply & work in different IT company, or any other option, which would be suitable in my case.

No - it's not possible to convert to an open work permit. You'll need to find a new employer who is willing to give you a job offer and obtain an approved LMIA so that you can get a new closed work permit.
