Conversion from Work Permit to PR

Hi,

I applied for a PR and completed my biometrics in April 2021. It is currently under processing.

In June, my company applied for a work permit and it was approved for an internal role in Canada. I will be landing in Canada on Aug 1 with the work permit.

I was trying to see what I need to do once my PR is approved and if I have to leave Canada and come back to get my PR.

Any response will be appreciated.

Impossible to know whether a virtual landing will still be an option or whether you’ll be able to go to the land border and do something called “flagpoling”
