Hello,
I have a 4 year undergrad degree from a Canadian University and 1 year of work experience as an independent contractor (37.5 hours per week in a NOC 1122 code job).
I am aware that its very difficult to make that experience count under CEC even though our relationship was more of employer/employee.
I am currently working in a contract position but they deduct all taxes and EI/CPP under same NOC. So I am confident this experience will count. But this experience will reach 1 year at end of Feb 2018 and my PGWP expires end of Aug 2018.
I am curious as to how I can make the independent contractor experience count and apply ASAP rather than waiting for my current position to reach 1 year and have a 6 month leeway. Is there any program I can leverage to apply and if so how I should proceed?
Thanks!
