Continuous work experience

CIC considers work experience of the last 10 years. I worked in a managerial position for 2 years from 2008 to 2010. Then I moved to another country for studies and started from scratch. I have then been working in a managerial position from 2014 till date. From 2010 to 2014, I was a student and had a part time job. In the last 10 years, I have 4 years and 6 months experience in 0 level job. Can I consider the experience from 2008 to 2010 since it's within the last 10 years or does the gap of 4 years invalidate my work experience from 2008 to 2010?

Gap doesn't matter. You only get points for a max of 3 years of foreign work.

Depends on the months. What months did you work.

Either way, 2+2=4. Gaps don't matter.
