Continuous Work Experience Query

Hi, I'm sorry this question has been asked many times in multiple different ways but I find things are still ambiguous.

On the online services questionnaire (https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/c2c/eapp.do) it mentions

In the last 10 years, how many years of skilled work experience do you have? It must have been continuous, paid, full-time (or an equal amount in part-time), and in only one occupation.

Here (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html) it mentions

You can get points for the number of years you’ve spent doing full-time paid work
...
To get selection factor points, your work experience will count if it was:

• in Canada or abroad
• while you were studying
• while being self-employed

I'm unsure about two situations and hoping to get some clarification on them

Situation A:

• Intern/full time work for 3 months (no studying over summer) whilst still being enrolled as a student
• 1 year no work experience, time spent studying full time
• Graduating and then working for 9 months

Would this classify as 12 months of work experience or just 9, as both are continuous but there is a break in between?

Situation B:

• Working at company A for 6 months from January 1st - June 30th
• Working at company B for 6 months from July 1st - December 31st

Would this classify as 12 months work experience as it is all continuous but two different companies

SituationA :there is break,so it is not continues.
SituationsB :if the NOC is the same,that belongs to FSW experience.
