Hi Qorax and All ,

As mentioned by Qorax we need letter of authentication from RTO's for driving liscence in ontario, could you please elaborate on what should be mentioned in it.

i hv read your post, which states that the Letter of Authentication for driving liscence should contatin following matter:
it should mention that in the person is driving tow wheeler/4 wheeler for last 24 months in the country(india) and also has international driving liscence

This letter should be in English language.

Should it be on letterhead or round seal and stamps will serve the purpose?

please tell if i have missed on anything
Kindly Reply Soon..

Many Thanks,
Madhura(Pune, India)

Reference: Qorax post:
Step-1 -Before we 'Land':
1. We must obtain a 'Letter of Authentication'* from the country's Roads & Transport Authority, explaining** our D/License.
2. Take also a 'True Translation Copy'* of our D/License from Road & Transport Authority. Both 1 & 2 maybe clubbed in one.
3. Obtain an International Driving License/Permit*** (IDL / IDP).
stating "more than 24 months" driving experience in our country.
*In English or French, the 2 Canadian Official Languages.
**The explanation should include 24 or 12 months driving experience [the Pre-conditions will apply].***This is nothing but a translated copy of our present D/license. (it can be used in lieu of point-1 & 2 above).
