Contacting CIC to print VISAS at another office

Hello All,

I received my Passport request today morning. I applied with my spouse. She is currently not in Canada. I did email CIC a request to get her visa printed in Pakistan. I have 2 questions;

1) How long does it take (an approximation) for CIC to reply? I know lots of forum members have contacted CIC for the same issue. Would appreciate your feedback.
2) Should I send in my passport, BIO data and photographs now, or should I wait for CIC's reply first?
3) If I do have to send in my passport now, do I even have to fill in my spouses' details on the BIODATA page?

Anywhere from 2 - 14 days has been reported.

2) Should I send in my passport, BIO data and photographs now, or should I wait for CIC's reply first?

No harm in sending out yours independently from your spouse's passport. CIC allows you 30 days so no harm in waiting it out either.

3) If I do have to send in my passport now, do I even have to fill in my spouses' details on the BIODATA page?

If it is asked for in there, you will have to provide that information.

Thank you Asivad.

For the BIODATA page, it's a default page that everyone gets. It not personalized for each applicant. They have rows for entering data about children as well, which doesn't apply to me.

For now I'm waiting for a CSE reply for an error in name. On ECAS and all the subsequent documents since, they have added a middle name to my name. It doesn't match with my passport. I didn't email them earlier. So I will wait for a reply about that first because I don't want that name printed on my documents.
