Contacting Canadian Embassy in Tokyo

Hello,

Need some advise. Tokyo embassy started processing my PR on 9th April, i was wanting to get a status update, i know that Tokyo embassy only accept queries via email and takes 15-20 days to reply to any query.

I work 15 mins away for the embassy, would it be a issue if i decide to visit the embassy in person to make a inquiry, would it adversly affect the processing time.

Any suggestions ?

Sort of pointless, since spousal applications take 4-8 months in Tokyo for 80% of cases. I doubt if yours is very far along.
