Hi,

I received my application back from Nova Scotia about three months ago (I originally applied via london in september) asking me to provide a valid NOC code, which I had completed incorrectly. I ammended the form as requested and provided 0213 my current noc category and sent back to nova scotia as requested. I have heard nothing since. I have faxed and emailed asking for some kind of guarantee they have my application , but heard nothing back.

Does anyone have any advice or had a similar experience. I am just wondering if this is normal or if my app has been lost???

Any comments welcome... :-)

Did you send you application through ordinary mail or by FEd-EX if through fed-ex check through tracking number if they have received or not.

if you sent a courier, you'll know from your courier company if it was delivered.

If yes, then wait until you think it's too late. then mail to them. There could be a possibility where the letter they sent you got lost mid-way. and they are expecting you to send the final pack sometime. remaining mute will cause harm.

I received an e-mail from them on 14-May, but have still not got the physical letter :)

Stupidly, I sentit through ordinary mail (from Germany). I am not convinced they have received it now. I gues there si little I can do aprt from try and contact the office. Which from my experience is pretty much impossible to get any response from anyone.

You can send another application again to CIO now by a courier along with a letter stating why you are sending the papers again.

best of luck

dont' lose heart. check if the draft/cheque you sent got cashed or not from your bank.

There is no harm in e-mailing them. state a clear purpose for the e-mail and ask crisp questions. am sure they will answer.

Provide all relevant information of yours. name , DOB, apssport number so that they can check. don't give them a chance to have to ask you something in a return mail.

another application beforeconfirmation of the previous one could be dicey. I'll strongly recommend to contact them first.

if they confirm, they have not got it, then cancel the previous draft first and then send the new application with an explanation and a copy of their return e-mail.

and remember to courier it this time...

Thanks Guys.

I think I may try contacting them again over the next week by email and hope to get some response. Then I guess I could always send a letter explaining and ask what steps I should take.

Hi,

I created a new forum about whether CIO responds to any mail sent to them. In my forum, I asked people whether there is anyone who actually mailed and received a reply. But, so far, no one has come back with a positive reply.
