I believe I read this somewhere, but can't quite find it (too many new threads daily)

We're going to apply outland from UK. But hub will probably visit us again later in the year.
Can we use my address for both contact addresses? I hate to miss mails when he's physically
here in Canada visiting us. Or is it better to keep with his UK residence address for correspondences?

any suggestions?

Yes, If he is going to be in Canada it would be in-land sponsorship,
You need to use his UK address, you can use the Use of representative form
( http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5476E.pdf )
if you want all the information sent to you, then every thing will go through you,

Some couples use that form, or it is used when a lawyer or Agency handles the application.

I am no expert, so please double check with the experts here, but I am in the process of changing my address from USA to Canada right now (I applied OUTLAND and I already have the SA.) - I wish I had put my husband's address to start with so I don't have to go through this hassle now - Like your hubby, I am going to be visiting my spouse (I will be relocating within the US before that) and I don't want to miss any important correspondence.

If it's just a visit, then your best bet is just to have a friend or family member checking the mail while he is away. Even if they only check once a week, you will find out sooner due to mailing time (UK mail is much better than CanadaPost).

Thanks all for replying. We'll definitely go OUTLAND!!! But I think I read in some other thread that all mails can be sent to one address, the sponsor's address?

He has no one to check his mails. The houses in UK have a mail slot on the door, which means you'd have to give the person the house key to open the front door to access mails. I don't think he has anyone he trusts well enough to do that.
