Hi, i am working in a construction field as a construction manager for more than seven years. The company which i work for is for my brothers. (Family business).

How can i get a job offer from an employer from Canada? In addition i have friend from Ontario and he is willing to help me.

What do you think should i write in my CV to meet the Canadian market needs?

On other hand, is allowed to me to get a job offer in the construction area if i have a Master degree in Computer science?

Your fast reply will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Look at the Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) immigration requirements. They will be updated on or before July 1, 2012. It is possible that construction managers may be included in the required occupations and with your education (which doesn't have to be related to the work you do unless it is a regulated profession) you may have the necessary points to apply. To get a job offer from Canada, the employer would have to advertise their vacancy for a minimum of 14 days and prove that they were unable to hire a Canadian for the position. Read about LMO requirements. Check out the jobs on the job bank and see what they have written in their offerings. This should give you an idea of what the employers are looking for. Be prepared to write a few CVs to satisfy the different employers. Having a friend in Ontario to help will be tremendous. They will know the areas where it is more likely to be difficult to find workers. Good Luck.
