As the conservatives have won the election what does this mean t us that have already applied through london for Canadian permanent residency. Will this cause further delays or make it more impossible for us?

It means that the government will stick with the same policy they have started. If you are under the old system, you will wait your turn while they clear the back log. I don't think it will delay you, they might even speed up to get the waiting people out of the system. If you are under the new system, you need to wait for the new rules to be published. Nobody really knows what they will be. The worst scenario is that only the 38 listed occupations may apply and they need a job offer beforehand. The best scenario would be that all occupations are still allowed but only the 38 get priority processing.
