Consent for Emedical?

I did my upfront medical examination and received this printout which says at the bottom of the page that I didn't give my consent to Emedical.
From What the doctor told me,they send the result to CIC and I wasn't asked for any consent as it concerns my results.does anyone know what this 'consent' means?

so yesterday I was talking with this guy who also did his upfront medical exam and the doctor asked him to give his consent in writing for the emedical.
I called the clinic where I did my exams and the receptionist kept repeating that they will send the results to CIC - however, if I never gave my consent, how is this gonna happen? I guess I'm just confused about this entire emedical process and would be grateful if someone could shed a light.
My biggest concern is that my results will somehow get lost on the way to CIC.

I just checked my e-Medical Information sheet and I see the statement "On (Date...) you consented online to using eMedical to process your health examinations where available".

I somehow believe your clinic guy might be right(although not as per process) because the doc must have done this many times. But, better call CIC phone line to get clarity on this.

Are you sure the place you went to uses emedical? Some places don't, but they get the results to CIC - just in a different way.

They said they do use emedical that's why I'm confused that I haven't been asked for consent to emedical.

Yes the doctor has done these examinations for more than 2 years for immigration.I don't know how familiar he is with EE though. I'll try to contact him next week. Thanks for your feedback!

Hi I may be a little late to this post but I am currently having the same question - I have the form ready to be uploaded, only realize at the bottom it says I have not consented to eMedical. Did this cause you any problem?

I am currently waiting to hear back from the place I did the check-up, but would like to hear from your experience. Thank you!

Ours say the same (you have not yet provided online consent for emedical to process your health examinations). Anyone had any problem due to this?

Mine said the same and I passed my medicals just afew days ago, I wouldn't worry
