CONFUSION REGARDING SENDING PCC'S.......PLEASE CLARIFY FRIENDS

Hiii friends.....i got the request from cic to send PCC'S last week but there is a confusion in the letter. In the first page of letter it is mentioned to send the SEND THE SCANNED COPIES OF ORIGINAL PCC but in the next page they gave the mailing and courier address to send the documents directly to them.I am really confused about sending the documents. Do I need to send the original dsocuments to them through courier or is it enough to send the scanned copies as they highlighted the sentence in the letter. Please assist me in this issue ..

It is so clear - the scanned copy. So, scan PCC and mail it

If you're going to send them via mail, you might as well send originals just to be sure (since it says "originals" in the application guide). You don't really need to keep them for anything else do you? Make sure to take a scan or photocopy for your records though.

Its both. Even few members they do the same (email and mail them before it expires) whenever they receive the pcc. 1. They scan it and email or raise case specific enquiry and attach the pcc. 2. Then they also post the original documents to visa office.
So you need to email the scanned copies and then mail the originals.

Thank you very much for your replies friends. Will cic ask to send pcc's by courier again even after sending the scanned copies? I am just scared to send the originals now because of this doubt. If I send the originals now,then I wont be having the originals with me even if they ask for second time. Please clarify my doubt and assist me.

Most of us in the same boat. I saw few people who have been asked again because the file was not updated with pcc sent. So the rep at cic says always to send it through trackable post to prove ourselves. I have one other plan on this - getting notarized copy and keep it at home so that even if they ask again then we can submit.

ok friend...actually I thought about sending the notarized copy of PCC to cic...How it would be??will they consider it or not?
