Confusion regarding PCC

Hello everyone,

I had a question about PCCs required.

So I am in the process of uploading my documents and I see the following note in the PCC section:

You must provide a police certificate for every country, region or territory, other than Canada, in which you have spent 6 months or more. A police certificate is a copy of your criminal record, or a declaration of the absence of any criminal record.

Example: If you visited, worked or lived in a country for two months, left for a few years, then returned for four months, that counts as spending six months there. In this case, you would need a certificate.

Now I have lived almost all my life outside my home country, but have regularly gone for vacations. If all of this time is added up I'm sure it will add up to over 6 months.

However, I have not traveled frequently since turning 18 and this time would be below 6 months.

So my question is the note on the document checklist does not indicate that this should have been after 18. Many people have mentioned that this is the requirement on the forum.

So basically I'm not sure as to whether I need to provide the PCC from my home country as this will take time.

Feedback from people who have had a similar situation would be appreciated.
