Guys,

I am preparing my documents for submission. However, i got last minute queries;

1. My PCC was issued last time i came back from Belgium and never went again. My PCC was issued in NOV 2014. My question is, IS MY PCC STILL VALID FOR ME TO SUBMIT WITH MY APPLICATION ?

2. I have submitted my documents for OOPNP and hoping to get a nomination soon. My question here is that;

IN CASE CIC REJECTS YOUR APPLICATION DUE TO SOME DOCUMENT MISSING, DO YOU LOOSE YOUR PNP NOMINATION OR YOU CAN AGAIN USE IT WHEN SUBMITTING YOUR SECOND APPLICATION AGAIN TO CIC FOR FSW ?

Thanks

It is valid.

Under EE, the PN is linked to your active profile. If CIC cancels your application and closes the application, you cannot reuse the PN.

Thanks

Thanks Bro for your quick response.

I have one follow up question regarding PCC that for how long will this PCC be valid keeping in mind that it was issued in NOV 2014 mentioning that i am getting this PCC to apply for canadian immigration ?

Although i haven't confirmed it yet, but i do believe you should be able to reuse the Provincial nomination again.
since closing the express entry profile doesn't invalidate your provincial nomination which is a separate provincial procedure.

Although you might have to get the province to confirm your nomination for your new express entry profile.
when you create a new express entry profile say yes to provincial nomination and cic will ask you to get that nomination confirmed by the province.
you should contact you provincial body responsible to find out what the procedure is.

It wont make sense for the provinces to cancel nominations just because the profile was cancelled, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are not eligible for immigration

Valid till you go back and live in Belgium for more than 6 months in a row.

This might indeed be the case. Early days for EE so no one really knows.

Again this is unconfirmed, but most provinces charge fees for PNP which are higher than fees for express entry as well as they have a fixed number of nominations each year also it can take upto 3 moths to issues a PNP.
They can't possibly keep issuing nominations to make up for cancelled profiles which seems to be the norm for express entry for minor reasons.
In the paper system applicants can resend immigration applications with the same PNP and even get extensions if the PNP (which is usually valid for 6 months) has expired.
I believe they will be following a similar approach with express entry, but again who knows with cic these days.

But if they don't then this is quite a moronic situation and needs to be fixed.
