My work permit started in February 2023 and is ending in February 2026. Since february 2023 until now, I have worked as an Administartive assistant Noc code 13110 at Scotiabank 20/hrs exact each week. Since I have accumulated more than 1560 hours as part time in 2 years, Can I put a resignation letter and quit my job next month ( October, 2024). Does that count as 1 year of work experience and can I file my PR with that? I have a document from Scotiabank stating my NOC code , hours worked every week with jobs and responsibilities.
OR
Do I have to work for 24 months from February 2023 to February 2025 in order to complete my one year of work experience to be counted in PR?
I have hired 3 immigration consultants and 2 of them are saying that you have gained one year od work experience and can resign your job in October 2024 but the other is saying that you have to work for 24 months on part time basis in order to make your one year of work experience.
Which one is accurate?
