Confusion in "Additional Dependant/Declaration form IMM 008DEP"

I am applying PR for me and my wife.. just 2 members. In this case,should I need to fill up "Additional dependent/declaration form (IMM 0008DEP)" for my wife?

In the document checklist, it is mentioned as:
"Completed, dated and signed by the pricipal applicant and if the applicant has more than five dependants(whether they are accompanying or not)"

But in the Instruction Guide it is mentioned as follows:
"Who must fill out this application form?
This form must be completed by:
•You, the principal applicant on behalf of EACH OF YOUR DEPENDANT."

So, I am little confused whether I need to fill the 'Additional dependent/delcaration' (since I have filled up the same set of questons in Generic form itself) form for wife and in that case who should sign it whether me or my wife?

No, you don't have more than 4 kids.

I was in the same situaiton, but really we do not need this form to be filled.
