Hi There,
I am having a problem with finalizing my Canadian Citizenship application submission. The only document I’m missing is the IELTS test results, the test I already took back in 2007. On the Immigration Canada website, it clearly states
Results of an accepted third-party test at the equivalent of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB/NCLC) / Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiensFootnote 1 level 4 or higher in speaking and listening either done previously for immigration purposes (acceptable even if expired) or done specifically for citizenship purposes.
Yet, when I contact IELTS learning centre in Ireland, where I originally took my test, they are unable to provide me with any copies as the results, after 2 years, are considered expired. What am I to do? Sounds like a complete money grab to pay 300CAD to re take the test as it is not necessary.
Has anyone been in the similar situation?
Thanks for your help!
