Confusion about new rules

I sent my citizenship application yesterday.....so i will be processed under new rules or old rules??

I called CIC helpline they said oldr ules still prevails. can someone throw light???

One of my known said his application returned, saying apply under new rules....dont know he is true or just kidding

Not true. Until Bill C-24 becomes law, there are NO new rules.

I just realised i forgot to sign my application...was in hurry to reach post office. any idea when can i receive my application back...so i have to be in queue again or they will send me some letter ete..though my form and enclosures are perfect..

They will probably send the entire application back to you and you'll have to re-send it once you sign.

your friend may be talking about the new rule about payment, which is not the same as c-24. even the forms were updated recently.

Just send a new application with a cover letter explaining that you are re-submitting since you forgot to sign the initial application. Good luck!

I agree. If you wanna save some time and avoid applying under the new satanic law. Do not wait till your app is returned back before you reapply.

ya it takes atleast a month or even two! i did exact same thing ;D
