confusion about my name on PGWP

Hi My name has been wrongly placed on my passport ( INDIAN PASSPORT) for years, ever since i was a minor, i never noticed .

following is the issue:

if My name was Sarah George ( for example)
it has been printed on my passport as :
Surname:
Given Name(s): Sarah George

The approved pgwp I applied for ended up printing my name (in the online ircc profile ) as : Sarah George Sarah George.

1.Is this what they do when a person's passport doesn't have both first and last name?
2.should i get this rectified to exactly as my passport? i am yet to receive the work permit by mail.
3. would this affect the legality of my current pgwp document ?

Doesn't sound like an issue, they probably need to put something in that field. You can call them and check.
