Confusion about Continuous Work

One of the requirements for Express Entry FSW program is 1 year of continuous work experience. Wondering what would continuous work experience mean if I did more than 1 job within that 1 year period. if I had 2 weeks of break between the jobs, would that be considered as continuous work?

What gap would be considered as continuous work in case of multiple jobs within a period of time?

If you had a two week break, then the work was not continuous. Continuous means without breaks.

so even a one week break would mean it's not continuous? Anyone can take 1-2 weeks off from their job and go on a vacation, right?

You can't have a break between employments of 1-2 weeks. That makes your work experience non continuous.

You can certainly take vacations however you need to be employed at that time to avoid this breaking the continuous rule. So for example, let's say you are with one employer for 8 months and in the middle of that 8 months you take a three week vacation. Then you change employers but there's no break between finishing your old role and starting your new role. Then you are fine.o
