Hi,

My husband got work permit for 2 years for Canada. I am 6 months pregnant. What are the options for us? Can i go with him? Of because of any medical situation i cant travel right now, Can i join him later? If yes what would be the procedure?

You can apply for a visitor visa or a spousal open work permit (if he has a NOC A, B or 0 job) to join him in Canada. There is never a guarantee these will be approved. But you can certainly apply. If you have further questions you should post them to the foreign workers section of the forum.

Yes you can go as a dependant. But based on your province make sure you have a good insurance otherwise treatments are very very expensive.

May be this is none of my business. But, just of curiosity, wont your husband be around with YOU for the delivery?
