Hi!

Just confused. Anybody please help me. I applied for extension to remain in canada as temporary rtesident last aug 28, 2015. Yesterday, nov 30, i received an update online that i need to have a medical exam within 3o days and unable to do so will result in refusal of my application, and today I got an online update again that my application has been approved and that a document has been mailed to the address in my application, that if i wont receive said document within 6 weeks, i have to contact CIC.

My question is that, do i still have to have a medical exam eventhough my application is already approved?

1. I would say call CIC.
2. If not get a hold of them, don't take a chance of not going for the medical.

Yes! It's approved but still you have to do medical. If you dont follow them, next time your might be on trouble when you plan to come to Canada next time.
Medical doesnt cost more. One location is in Close to broadview subway station Toronto.
