Hello, I worked part time as Help Desk Support in SK for 11 months. In my record of Employment my total worked hours are 1368 for those 11 months.

However, I sometimes worked more then 30-40 hrs/ week and sometime 25hrs/week. Now I am working as a full time employee with another company and i am getting 40 hours a week and its been 2 months now. So my hours are almost 1600 plus.

Can i apply Under CEC or shall i wait. I fall under 2282 Category i.e NOC B. Please advice me what should i do?.

What you need is a minimum of 1560 hours and more than 52 weeks of skilled employment.
16,000 hours in 2 weeks are not eligible and 10 hours in 130 weeks neither.

??? I'm not good with math, but I think...
if you have 1360 hrs experience in 11 months, you need 200 more hours and 1 month more experience
so...
If you add 2 more months from your new job you complete the 1 year requirement and if we count just 30 hours week in two months you have 240 hours and you complete the hours required.
So I think you are good to go. Any unpaid holidays? unpaid leaves? just double check you don't have this kind of time leaps; plus you still having the time experience while you gather all your documents and fill the application.
Good luck!

Some think that you only have to work a certain amount of hours
to become eligible, that why I said even if you work 16,000 hours in 2 weeks you don't
become eligible.

You need a minimum of 1560 hours and 52 weeks of employment.

I've interpreted this requirement as either "52 weeks in which you worked 30 hours or more" or "more than 52 weeks in which you worked up to 30 hours, totalling 1560 hours". There's no option for fewer than 52 weeks.

Or is it even more complicated than that?

You can use your part-time jobs, if they are under NoC 0/A/B.

Make sure your supply Employer letter for both part-time + full-time, stating whole work schedule and duties.

To be on the safe side, always work an extra month before sending your application.

Thank you so much for your help. I will wait 1 or 2 months more before applying just to be on the safer side. However I got this information now that i would have to complete 52 weeks and 1560 hrs, which are already completed. However some of the weeks when I was working part time have 20-30 hrs which is less then 30hrs. does those weeks will be countable?. And do I have to attach my pay stubs in the file to justify my hours as the letter my part time employer will give will reflect permanent part time 25hr/week (25hr/week was scheduled rest they call every week so it was more then 30hrs every week)

Any week where you worked more than 30 hours is simply one full-time week. You don't add up the hours, just count the weeks.
Any week where you worked fewer than 30 hours per week is a part-time week. You add up the hours and divide by 30 - that gives you the "full-time equivalent" in weeks.

Once your weeks total 52 or more, you've met that requirement.
