Hi!
Is it possible to shift carreer as food counter attendant to nanny? Other said yes, as long as you can get an employer willing to provide an LMO (which fortunately i got one just recently). Other said no because to become a nanny one should have at least 6 mos. training course or 1 year employment related to the field of work, in which either i dont. Other said those requirements applies only for foreign worker outside Canada (I am applying inside Canada). Please anyone help me clear this issue? I just want to extend my stay and legally work in Canada. I'm not into the permanent residency thing.

One more thing. My work permit will expire this Sept. 14 as a food counter attendant, i dont want to renew the job with the same employer though and am looking for a nanny position right now. I read that theres 90 days restoration period from the expiration of work permit so during those time can I still look for another job till i get one? When is the best time to apply for the extension of my stay? Is it now before my work permit expire next month Sept 14 or a month before the end of the 90 day restoration period?

Thanks so much, will appreciate much your views regarding this.
