Confused- Need help

HI friends,

I got the offer letter from Sheridan college for software engineering technology which is a 2 yrs UG diploma program.
But now i m really confused whteher to apply for visa or not. As i m already having a masters degree in computer science, so what are the chances of getting the visa? My Aunt in canada is forcing me to apply for visa and atleast try ur luck.

What do u think other members on this forum that should i apply or wait for 8 months and now apply directly to university for masters again? But it's difficult to wait once u started dreaming abt canada.........

What ur opinion??? :'(

Your visa will be rejected most probably. Why would you want to do an UG course in computers if you have a masters degree?

I'm not sure what courses would be good for you ...but dont apply for this UG course.

You already know what's wrong in your profile.

I would like to tell you one thing, so far on this forum (at least this I have seen/noticed) that only two members secured visa in second attempt. Now I believe that once your rejection is in your hands, it would be extremely difficult to get it done in your second attempt.

Those two members are:

1. RIDZ from Bangladesh
2. Obedieu (country unknown)

In your case, it's better to wait for 8 months and apply in some good university. Keep in mind that there are only two tragedies in life. One is not to get your dream fulfill and the other is to get it.....done. So now you decide who is more important; your visa or your aunt.

Thanks for ur concern. I myself don't want to go with diploma and waste my Ms degree frm India......But my family is forcing me to go that's why i asked ur opinions. But now i m clear with my dreams.........i will definately go university for MS.

I was eagerly waiting for ur reply only. Infact you are the only one who encouraged me a lot to go to university rather than college.
I know what's wrong in my profile, but u may know it's difficult to explain others. I will require ur futher guidance about the procedure to apply from India.
