Confused! Leaving out work history from EE profile

Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone knows can i leave out periods of work history from my EE profile that I have no desire to claim points for?( Employer is no longer in business, no reference letter and duration of job was less than the continuous 12 months required)

And if I do leave this information out of my EE profile but put it in my Personal Background history in the PR application after receiving ITA will it be a case of misrepresentation??

You can do that. Your personal history section will not allow for any gaps in time, and if you write something that isn't true for a time period, THAT is misrepresentation.

Though I don't know why people are panicking about this all over again. We've seen lots of rejections, and no one has been barred from re-applying. I suspect misrepresentation is for people who, for instance, doctor documents that are then revealed as false. I don't believe it's for ordinary mistakes.
