Hey everyone, I am from Sri Lanka. I have not yet entered the EE pool, but I have completed IELTS and educational assessment, and currently have around 480 points.
Last month I got a job offer from an EU country, which I decided to accept. I have since resigned from my workplace here. My plan is to work in the EU for around 1 year, and if I still wish to move to Canada, proceed with Express Entry.
So to make the process of moving to Canada as easy as possible (in due time), I have already got the experience letters from my old company here.
I am confused about whether if would be best to enter the EE pool now (I may get an ITA in a few weeks or sooner). However I may have to leave the country for my new job in a months time. But I may have just enough time to submit all my documents and complete the application.
This seems like a very stressful option to me. But at the same time I wouldn't need experience letters from my new company in EU or police letters from there etc, making the process somewhat simpler.
My other option is to enter the pool 1 year later, but of course this includes much more paper work. And with waiting times, it could be 2 years when I am finally able to move to Canada.
Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated
