I am posing my q acording to this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp

1).I do not have a skilled worker experience as listed there IN sKILL 0: But my experience falls under NOC skill type A. I worked as Software developer, Where do I fit? Skill type A right..But in the above link it says in 2nd point as below.

If your application is eligible for processing, you must also meet the following minimum requirements to qualify as a skilled worker:

* you have at least one year of continuous full-time paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment, AND
* your work experience must be Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification list, AND
* you must have had this experience within the last 10 years.

DO i HAVE TO HAVE BOTH?..Confused here....All I have 2 yrs of expericence as Software developer in India, MS degree in USA, 3 YR part time experience in Software development in USA, 6 months full time experience in USA (current job). I checked my points which is 72 i think. Am I eligible??

The operative word is 'OR'. It must be skill type O, A or B.

But you also need to satisfy the ministerial list criteria, which is separate from the above mentioned requirements. You need to check whether you satisfy that requirement too.

Thanks for quick response Rupesh.....

What is the ministerial criteria that i need to satisfy? Can you give me any link so that i will check...
