Hello, I am currently preparing to apply for EE (CEC) to get my PR. I have a question about job experience and NOC code. My job title is "Sourcing Data Analyst, Categorization" and the main responsibilities include data categorization of data; working with IT to build databases and other supporting systems; developing Category taxonomy; developing mechanisms to improve data cleansing, data quality, and data completeness. It seems half of my duties related to 21223 – Database analysts and data administrators, but not all of them. Also, another concern is the description of this NOC code said "They are employed in information technology consulting firms and in information technology units throughout the private and public sectors"; however, I am neither in IT consulting firm nor IT department of the company. I'm wondering if anyone has similar experience before. Really appreciate!
