Confused about multiple and single visas

Hi,
i'm a little confused with this one. i visited Canada on oct the 21st this year and i'm really not sure whether i got a single or i got a multiple entry visa. i'm a Danish citizen, so i'm from an excempt country. so i left on the 17th november (this month) does that mean that if i want to come back for example in janurary i might get refused? or will i just get 6 months visitor again?

i hope i don't sound too silly.. but i'd rather just be sure!

As your visitor visa exempt (TRV) it doesn't apply to you. You may get 6 months, you may not, it is up to the CBSA officer at the Port of Entry.

You do not return on a visa extension, it becomes void when you leave Canada.
But you can return because you are from a visa exempt country, the IO will still be the one who decides if you get in..

Note that if you got an extension of your visit visa in Canada, there would be a "not authorized for re-entry" on your visitor record. If you'd only be leaving for the US and not leave the US for another country then you can come back to Canada within the validity of the VR.
