Hello,
I m currently doing A level’s (high school) and next year in May, I will be done with it. In the same year (2018) I hv to apply to some university in Canada.
My major in high school right now is Business (Accounting, Economics, Business studies). I love Aviation and I would love to persue it as my career after getting my bachelors degree in Business. I m planning to do Business Management but as you know alot of people have different opinions. I have heard people saying that this degree is a complete waste of time and it does not have much value to it in Canada.
I m confused if I should do my bachelors in this field or not.

Hi Mariam

If you think Aviation is something you can be successful in, go for it. There is no such thing known as a 'good/bad course' . Everything depends on your intentions of pursuing it.

If you are applying as an international student, then the credentials may vary from country to country, but if you are a domestic applicant, make sure of the specialization of Aviation you are interested in ( Geography, technology, management?).Grade 12 U or M courses ARE REQUIRED.

Applying to Aviation courses generally requires the following courses:
-English 4U (ENG4U) -- A minimum grade of 70 is required

-Advanced Functions 4U -- A minimum grade of 70 is required OR
-Calculus and Vectors 4U -- A minimum grade of 70 is required OR
-Mathematics of Data Management 4U -- A minimum grade of 70 is required

PS. Last year I taught a student with the interest inclination towards Aviation, also he was a science student.

If any other query, PM me.Thanks.
