Hello! My study permit application for a 2-yr program for Fall 2022 was recently approved and my passport was already stamped. However, I have decided to defer to Fall 2023. I am aware that I have to enter Canada at some point or else my application would be put into waste. Now, in my Letter of Introduction (LOI) it says:
Letter of Introduction validity (YYYY/MM/DD): 2024/09/30
Medical Examination validity (YYYY/MM/DD): 2023/03/09
In the letter, it did not explicitly mentioned that I have to enter Canada before the said date. Just this validity date. Does this mean it is okay to enter Canada on September 2023 without having to worry about anything except retaking another medical? I'm kind of skeptical since I've seen other variations of the LOI such as the Port of Entry (POE) Letter which commonly has a 1-yr validity for a 2-yr program application. I did not expect my LOI to have a 2-yr validity. Can anyone reaffirm this?
Thanks!
