Hello,

I've searched all through this forum but there seems to be a lot of conflicting answers, so I hope someone can give me a definitive one.

My bf and I are applying for Common Law and we just paid online. He paid with his Visa. We are living in Canada but are applying outland. On the receipt it asks for the payer information, but also client ID. I have a client ID since I've had 2 work permits, so my question is, does he fill out his info for name and phone number since he is the one that paid, and do I put my client DOB and ID since I already have an ID from my previous work permits?

Thanks in advance!

You don't necessarily need the UCI, they can find it by looking up your name in the system. If you want to, you can put it in. If you put the UCI in, I would put your information on the receipt. If not, your boyfriend's info is fine :)

That's exactly what I did (I am the sponsor), put my name, address, and info but to be clear I put the applicant's client ID (with their name underneath) and since it says "client DOB" I put the applicant's DOB there. I got sponsorship approval without any difficulty, which to me means I must have done it correctly.
