My study permit application was approved, and I received my letter of introduction two months ago. On the application portal online, under documents, it shows an eTA and the status is 'valid'. However, when I go to the eTA status check page, and put in the document number, it says "No matches were found using the criteria provided."

I am emigrating from Bermuda, and when I traveled to Canada last year I had to apply for an eTA. That eTA has expired.

Do I need to apply for another eTA? Did I do something wrong with my application?
