IRCC defines a Certified photocopy as
"A photocopy of an original document. It must be readable and certified as a true copy of the original by an authorized person. The person compares the documents and marks on the photocopy".

I'm confused because if I scanned a document and have the printed one certified as true copy, does the photocopy of the printed/certified one needs to be certified again?
Or do I give my notary the photocopy of the original document to be certified?

THanks,
