Confirming Medical results have been recieved - How Critical???

It's not your responsibility to inform CIC about sending medicals. It's up to your doc to do so and send
the medicals. However, you sure go ahead and ask CIC if meds have been received, don't expect
and answer tho, you'll get a response if you're lucky.

And if you're refering to that one case, posted a few days ago where someone got rejected,
we don't know all the details about that case, so don't worry.

Very next day I got PPR (I did advance medicals )

Ok so coming to Bahadur's point, we are not supposed to confirm the receipt of medicals but after seeing that rejected case, I will say there is no harm in checking with CIC about receipt of medicals (Provided you dont see any update in ECAS even after 2 weeks of sending results, wait for couple of weeks for ECAS to be updated else contact CIC). Worst case they will not reply to your email but chances of rejection would be lowered.

Exactly what I've been saying. Check back in with CIC after your medicals and keep email
as proof of communication. I, at least speaking of myself, will keep a copy of every email and every letter,
plus times, dates and names of phone conversations until I get my application approved.

yeah, I have read the post and it is slightly different from ur thread. from my understanding, this person did the medical but never followed up on whether the clinic sent it to cic or not. s/he got relaxed thinking everything was done but unfortunately, it wasn't sent so s/he got denied after cic awaited the meds result probably after 60 days given period. This case is very strange and very rare in this forum. but my advice to u is to follow it up on the clinic and make sure ur result was sent and I know they wont lie about it. writing or calling cic might not be the best option. it is all up to the clinic that did the medical. but like u said earlier, more inputs will be required. btw, have u done medical for cec yet?? best of luck.

I did message here just asking for help nothing else. If someone give you opinion or suggestion, we dont need to argue if you want to follow or not that is fine because this is our experienced. We just share it because we need it maybe in the future. All the best from us...sorry if you will mis understood this I just got need to clarify everything so no one will talk about someone issue that they didnt comment or give opinion.

And FYI that is not receipt that i sent, if you did e-medical and you are in my case maybe you will understand what im trying to asked. That is a piece of paper and for details and information about your medical with your picture. But theres no result because that is the one they will send in ottawa...sometimes people only reminding all of us, because maybe it will happen to us, that is a concern only and opinion of other, and it does not mean that you need to follow it, of course you are still the one who will make it, so its up to us. Its just some people experiencing weird situation that they dont want to happen it to others. But anyway thank you for your opinion. Have a great day to you! God bless and best of luck as well.

Ok if that is your opinion i respect it, actually I already detailed my case on what my story have gone through. And all of the person who suggest and give me POSITIVE feedback I thank them a lot. I have realized that its very important to send the medicals and get confirmation / acknowledged by Ottawa after medical test is done.

Some of us do send the medical confirmation receipt and try to get Ottawa acknowledge and some of us DO NOT.

Please share the details steps on " How to make sure that medicals have been received and attached to file" to all of us.

I have seen a case posted here where his/her case was denied as they never received medical even though s/he did e-medical. Could be some technical glitch

why is there such a confusion about medicals: there are couple of ways to do so:
1) When we go for medicals; we pay the fees & they give us the receipt: If you are directly communicating with CIC, please scan the copy of the said fee receipts & attach it as a pdf & write a short note saying that you have completed your medicals on so & so date & attach is the proof. In case, you have hired an immigration consultant, please forward him your receipts, & he will communicate with CIC.
2) after 4 days, check on the physician where you completed your medicals, & email cic with the physician's name & address and informing them about your completed medicals.
3) After 1 week of your medicals, you can order GCMS notes, by the time you receive your notes, your medicals will be included in the notes.

Personally, I havent done my medicals yet. But some of my friends have completed their medicals & I followed the above steps, CIC duly replied to us saying that they have received the medicals.
