Confirmation that Vegreville has received paper work permit application

Hey

If anyone who has submitted a paper BOWP knows this would be awesome to know.

Will I get something from Vegreville to say that they've received my work permit application?

My work permit will expire on September 1st and want to be able to show my employer that I am on implied status.

Or do I just show my fees receipt, the implied status legislation and print out my Canada post tracking thing to show that it arrived at Vegreville?

I would have thought that they would send out something (and email or letter) to say that they have received it but I haven't received anything yet.

No - you won't receive anything from Vegreville confirming you have submitted a BOWP.

So to prove my implied status, do you know what do I need to show my employer?

Kind of wishing I had applied online now but a few people suggested doing the paper application.

You can still do it online and you would get an AOR right away.
This way you can provide them with a legit document and work with implied status.

Wouldn't they get confused if I put in an online application now and have two applications in?
