I have mailed my application for PR card renewal on 29th Dec 2015. Did not get any acknowledgement so far. How long normally it will take to get an acknowledgement. Will it come to my email or mailing address.

I have noticed that few got their AOR within few weeks from the date of PR renewal application. I am unable to confirm if CIC received my application. Could someone explain how to get confirmation from CIC, if they have received my application.
